Last October a seminar took place in Riga (Latvia) in order to discuss about diabetes care at regional level using “Operations Management to Improve Healthcare Outcomes”.

The seminar was co-organised by two EU funded projects: MANAGED OUTCOMES and ImPrim.

Last week, Aalto University (Helsinki) hosted the Summer General Assembly of the Managed Outcomes project. During the previous day, a project meeting was also developed in the Aalto University.

Last week, WP4 Meeting was developed in Paris in order to present the results of the Futures workshops included in the Work Package 4 tasks.

Other issues as survey results, economical modeling, operational modeling or publication plans have been also discussed in this meeting.

On 3rd and 4th July, Helsinki and Aalto University will host the summer General Assembly of the Managed Outcomes project. Partners from eight different European countries will get together to discuss the main results of the research on the case studies for the Inventory of European practices in healthcare. On the other hand, partners will take advantage to discuss about scenarios development for European healthcare system based on case studies, patients surveys and futures workshop developed in each country.
